Expansion Speech Therapy Location, parking, and items needed for your child's therapy evaluation/therapy session
Welcome to our office at 550 Pinetown Road, Suite 260, Fort Washington, PA 19034. Please park in the back of the building and enter through the main lobby doors. Once within the building turn right and we are the second suite on the left (260). Upon entering the office suite, you will see a waiting area with a couch and two chairs. You and your family may wait in the waiting room until your therapist is ready to see you.
Please bring the following items with you (if it applies):
Contact Information for the people involved in your child's education/medical care/daily routine (daycare teachers, regular education teachers, medical providers, therapists, etc).
Special devices or materials (hearing aids, FM systems, walkers, wheelchairs, picture exchange communication system, speech generating devices, etc) that your child uses regularly.
Reports from other organizations involved with your child's care. This could include reports from developmental pediatricians, specialty physicians (GI, Neurologist, Craniofacial Team, ENT, etc), pediatric dentists, IBCLCs, audiologists, reports from therapists (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language/feeding therapy), and/or educational documents (IEP or IFSP).
If you are being seen for a feeding/swallowing evaluation. Please bring your child hungry. If you are nursing/bottle feeding please bring yourself, expressed breast milk (as needed), formula, and/or the bottle system your child is currently using. If you have concerns about difficulty eating solid foods or picky eating, please bring at least one food your child enjoys eating and one to two foods they may dislike. If you have had any recent feeding evaluations, please ensure you bring the most recent report with you.
If your child is being seen of an AAC evaluation or treatment, please bring your child's current speech generating device (if they have one) and ensure it is charged. If you have copies of your child’s IFSP or IEP please bring them with you to the evaluation.
